Weaving

I began weaving in 1981, serving as an apprentice to another weaver, Jackie Fisher.  After working with her for a couple years, reading many books and attending a workshop at Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, WV, I decided to market and sell my own work at area shops and arts festivals.  My approach is simplicity of design with vivid use of color creating pieces equally suited to wall, table or floor display.  I welcome commissions, working with the client to create the weaving that will fit his or her home or office.  A few examples of my work are on this page, but I invite you to visit me at my gallery to view others or to discuss the creation of a unique piece.
